Q: I have a computer at home that is real slow. It takes forever to open a file, or to startup or shutdown. What can I do get my computer working? Is it just better to buy a new computer?
A. In most cases, you do not need to buy a new computer. There are times when a new computer is the right choice to make, but sometimes we are able to restore that old computer and get a few more years of life out of it. Q: I cannot seem to get a CD to play in my CDROM drive. What's wrong?
A: There are a couple reasons for this. The most common is the CDROM drive is bad and needs to be replaced. Drives are relatively cheap to purchase these days and an upgrade is just as cheap as buying a direct replacement.
Q: I think I have a virus, What do i do now?
A: Are you running an Anti Virus program? If not, now is the time to get one, and install it. QUICK!. Some virus programs are so malicious that they can cause your computer to become damaged, and or can track the websites you go to and record your email address, your login ID and your passwords, or worse, your bank account and credit card information.
